Following on from the success of 2008 with the addition of camping a popular option, 2009 adopted the four stage format. The festival kicked off on Friday evening and continued through until Saturday night with some 38 acts performing.

Kept well under wraps until the day of the festival, Channel 4 chose Togfest to immerse 5 Amish teenagers in ‘British’ culture for their anthropological documentary ‘Amish, the squarest teenagers in the world’ (Available on YouTube). Another stunning day with top quality music from every genre.
